According to Executive Vice President and General Manager of Neapco Components Keith Sanford, the combining of the manufacturing operations into Beatrice allows the company to better concentrate its focus on driveline products for aftermarket and original equipment customers. "Consolidation of our manufacturing operations will allow Neapco Components to better execute our long term plan to move the company forward and ultimately will position Neapco even more competitively in the marketplace." said Sanford.
"The consolidation will take place through 2011. Neapco Components will continue to offer and expand its current product lines and there will be no disruption in service or the shipment of products to our customers."
"We are very pleased that Neapco has made a long-term future investment in growing its operations here in Nebraska," said Richard Baier, director, Nebraska Department of Economic Development. "The jobs to be created in Beatrice couldn't come at a more welcome time. Neapco's reputation for quality goods and service, and top-notch corporate citizenship also is time-tested here, and we look forward to working with them for many years to come."
"We express our thanks to Neapco's management team and our partners who were instrumental in the discussions that lead us to today's expansion announcement for the Beatrice facility," said Beatrice Mayor Dennis Schuster. "On behalf of the City of Beatrice we want to thank Neapco for their corporate partnership and commitment to our community."
